Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
1. What This Policy Covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Vastra ERP ("we", "our", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on vastraerp.com. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly.
2. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store. On each later request, the browser sends it back — which is how a site can recognise a returning visitor or keep you signed in. Cookies set by vastraerp.com are called "first-party"; cookies set by another domain we load (such as Google Analytics) are "third-party".
3. Cookies We Set
We keep this list short on purpose. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal information with third parties for behavioural advertising.
| Cookie | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
session_emailVastra ERP (first-party) | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to the Vastra ERP admin area after you verify a one-time code. Set only after you sign in — never on public marketing pages. | 7 days |
_gaGoogle Analytics 4 (third-party) | Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another so we can count unique visitors and understand which pages are useful. Your IP address is anonymised before storage. | 2 years |
_ga_6ZJ8JLDN1HGoogle Analytics 4 (third-party) | Analytics | Maintains the analytics session state for our specific GA4 property, so a single visit is not counted as several. | 2 years |
4. Categories We Use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function — signing in to the admin area, and security. These cannot be switched off and are exempt from consent requirements under GDPR Article 5(3).
- Analytics. Help us understand which pages are read, which are ignored, and where visitors get stuck, so we can improve the site. Data is aggregated and your IP address is anonymised.
We currently set no marketing or advertising cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting them.
5. How to Control Cookies
You can control or remove cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies — see the privacy or security section of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
- Opt out of Google Analytics. Install Google's official browser opt-out add-on, which stops analytics data being sent from any site you visit.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC and processes data under Google's own privacy policy. We have enabled IP anonymisation and have not enabled Google Signals, advertising features, or data sharing for advertising purposes.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our site or the law changes. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced alongside our Privacy Policy updates.
